Plus Hus is an LA-based prefabricated ADU manufacturer from Icelandic natives. As LA-natives, they were inspired to address the city’s underlying housing crisis through environmentally friendly ADUs. They were designed by an award-winning architecture firm called Minarc and built with sustainable building materials from mnmMOD.

Plus Hus prides itself on affordable ADUs that are environmentally friendly and multi-functional.

Their ADU models include:

  • Open: A simple, modern living space with three walls and a sliding glass door starting at $67,000
  • Open+: Includes everything in the Open, as well as a bathroom for $72,000
  • Full: Included everything in the Open, plus a bathroom and kitchen starting at $79,000

These models start at 320 square feet and are customizable as detached offices, additional living units, and standalone tiny homes.

Note that these prices do not include permitting, planning, or contracting services that will add between $95,000 to $150,000 to your price.
